Job description

Maintenance Technician (PLC / Industrial Maintenance)

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and machinery to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

Training & Schedule

  • Training: First 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Post-Training: Transition to night shift schedule
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC systems
  • Fabricate and weld components as needed
  • Maintain and repair production machinery and automated systems
  • Manage and order MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) parts and supplies
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with team members and assist senior technicians as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills
  • Knowledge of welding and fabrication
  • Familiarity with MRO processes and inventory management
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
