POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow Senior Lead instructions and guidance on and when tasks below are present.  
  • Provide electronic, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and hydraulic service to production equipment that needs it.
  • Be able to, but not required, work with welding, electronics, electrical, control panels, mechanics, and hydraulics.
  • Maintenance on Boiler/Steam Generator, HTST Pasteurization Systems, Air Compressors, Chillers, Conveyors, Tanks, Gear boxes, RO Water systems, CIP Systems, Product Filler Machines, Diaphragm and Screw Pumps.
  • Be able to, but not required, work in one or more of the following skill areas: Welding (stick, TIG, MIG), basic machining, fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, pumps, boiler, product filling machines or compressors.
  • Follow Company GMPs, Food Safety, attend monthly trainings and other applicable WPDNs SOPs.
  • Report Food Safety and Quality incidents.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Senior Lead, Supervisor or Manager.

SKILS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 0 – 2 years education and or proven experience in industrial maintenance or similar role.
  • Have learning aptitude and a basic sense of troubleshooting, diagnostic and planning skills.
  • Basic knowledge of regulations that apply to handling raw materials and components.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write legibly in English.
  • Team Player
  • Promote a safe and organized work environment for self and co-workers.
  • Basic computer skills including Excel, internet, and email.
  • High desire to play an active role in executing changeover activities and continual improvements.
  • Basic Process understanding.
  • Able to work occasional weekends and holidays.
