Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of buildings and systems, ensuring that they meet legal requirements and health and safety standards. The Facilities Maintenance Tech is responsible for the ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems including fire and security alarms.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Perform on going preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
- Maintains, operates all HVAC systems and associated equipment, and monitor the building automation system.
- Perform general maintenance (e.g. change light bulbs, painting, drywall repairs, plumbing repairs, etc.) and other manual repairs as needed;
- Review and understand equipment and methods of operations
- Perform facility inspections and complete/submit associated Work Orders.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical and pneumatic hoists to support production.
- Monitor and repair compressed air system as needed.
- Maintain compliance to City, County, State ordinance and codes;
- Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required;
- Complete tasks as part of a team or on your own.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for accurate installation and repairs.
- Operate a range of equipment, including motor control and switchgear, as well as conveyors and PLCs, safely.
- Ensure that corporate policies, procedures, and operational safety requirements are followed.
- Work with low to medium-voltage equipment, control systems, motors, and other industrial machinery.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Industrial Facility Maintenance Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and hand tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at elevated heights.

- Exposure to both hot and cold environments
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
Base Pay Range:
$24.66 - $29.47Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Visa sponsorship will not be provided. To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
