CFP is currently accepting applications for an experienced, full time hourly Maintenance Mechanic with Electrical experience to cover the 1st shift weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5AM-5PM.

Summary:

Under supervision, performs mid to expert level mechanical, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc. Electrical, and systems troubleshooting a bonus.

Maintenance Mechanic Duties/Responsibilities:

• Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines.
• Performs mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: observing devices in operation to locate the root cause of the issue.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Assists with the water treatment preventative maintenance and general upkeep.
• Drives and participates in OFI activities - processes, results and cost savings.
• Background in welding a plus.
• Basic electrical experience.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED). All combinations of education and experience are evaluated during the screening process.
• 2 + years’ experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work as team player and stay self-motivated.
• Basic skills in welding with Tig, Mig and Stick Welders
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
• Must provide own basic hand-tools, including wrenches and socket sets up to 1½ and equivalent metric sizes.
