Industrial Products Manufacturing (Primary Metals Foundry, Chemicals, Pulp & Paper, Mining & Minerals, Oil & Gas Refinery)

 

Maintenance Manager - $100-110K + Bonus – Heavy Industrial Products Manufacturing (Steel, Aluminum, Chemicals, Pulp & Paper, Petrochemicals) - Will manage engineers and technicians (process engineering, projects engineering, maintenance & facilities engineering, possible construction/expansion of the facility. Develop, execute and manage maintenance and improvement activities aimed at maintaining/improving asset availability and reliability. Continuously improve the maintenance operating system (MOS). Identify the most cost-effective and applicable maintenance techniques to minimize the risk and impact of failure in facility equipment and systems. Provide engineering support to maintenance and operations teams. Obtain the information necessary for design improvement for equipment and systems where inherent reliability is inadequate. Perform technical analysis, testing, calculations, and evaluation of results to improve equipment and system reliability, safety and sustainability at minimum total cost.

BS Engineering/Technical degree – Prefer Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – May consider AS engineering degree - 5 to 10 years of experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment (prefer Steel, Aluminum, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Pulp & Paper type products) with at least 5 years maintenance management experience. Have a solid understanding of heavy industrial production processes, mechanical engineering practices and understanding of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) applications. Experienced with CMMS and work order systems. Good troubleshooting, and team building skills. Experience with AC/DC motor control, drive packages, & PLCs. Experience with hydraulics, water systems, print reading and machine shop math. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office and PowerPoint. Six Sigma experience is a plus. PE is a plus. Knowledge of metallurgy is a plus.
