• Salary range 007: $123,800 à $154,800 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

‘What you’ll be responsible for each day:’ 

• Plans, organizes, and controls maintenance budgets (capital and operational) with cross-functional teams
• Leads and coordinates improvement, corrective, and equipment replacement projects
• Drives continuous improvement through performance monitoring, planning routines, and process control
• Optimizes workforce utilization and promotes team autonomy and efficiency
• Manages external contractors and client-supplier relationships to optimize costs and delivery
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all activities
• Develops and enhances plant automation, engineering, and maintenance performance programs using KPIs
• Oversees team performance, employee relations, and departmental objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

‘The individual who will own this role’ 

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food industry and 24/7 operation
• Experience in production and maintenance, project management, and relevant experience in human resource management; both managerial and unionized staff preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or
• Red Seal certification
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
