MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe and effective management of all refinery equipment and machinery at Kumbango refinery.

• Direct, supervise and allocate work to the electrical, maintenance and project team whilst on the refinery and KBT side.

• Ensure all necessary spare parts and equipment is in place to minimise downtime of refinery operation.

• Within the refinery operation establish and control a workshop and spare parts.

• Ensure that KOR maintenance budgets are set and not exceeded during the year end.

• Responsible and ensure operation accordance roundtable standard.

• To be available for call outs after normal working hours operation breakdowns.

• To coordinate maintenance tasks at the bulking facility at the port.

• Responsible for training requirements for staff under direct control and ensure work is delivered in timely manner and ensure good performance from the team.

• Ensure all machinery and equipment’s on a planned maintenance program.

• Prepare weeks reports on maintenance to the refinery

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in  field.

• Previous management experience is essential.

• Health & Safety management certified.

• Able to work independently or in the team, good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Computer literate is a must
