Job Scope

Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production equipment and related systems to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operations. Through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and improvement projects, continuously enhance equipment availability, production efficiency, and product yield, providing reliable equipment support for manufacturing operations. Collaborate closely with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on production equipment and related systems to ensure stable and reliable operation. Develop and execute equipment maintenance plans to reduce equipment failures and downtime. Respond promptly to equipment abnormalities on the production floor and complete troubleshooting and issue resolution efficiently. Establish and maintain equipment maintenance records, repair histories, and related technical documentation.

Equipment Failure Analysis & Improvement

Conduct equipment failure analysis, identify root causes (RCA), and drive the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Evaluate equipment operating conditions and propose and implement equipment optimization solutions. Track and analyze equipment performance data and trends to improve equipment reliability. Lead or participate in key equipment improvement projects and technology upgrade initiatives.

Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

Provide daily technical guidance and knowledge sharing to technicians and new employees. Develop and update equipment maintenance standards, operating procedures, and training materials. Continuously learn and stay updated on new equipment, technologies, and advanced maintenance methodologies.

Requirements

Must Have

Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design & Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related disciplines. Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC system maintenance; familiar with CNC systems such as FANUC and/or Mitsubishi. Strong knowledge of industrial equipment mechanical design, equipment maintenance, and failure analysis. Proficient in design software such as SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD. Solid understanding of electrical drives, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems and their operating principles. Basic knowledge of electronic circuits. Good cross-functional collaboration, communication, and risk identification capabilities. Valid Electrician IC Card certification and/or Welder IC Card certification (electronic-related certification is also acceptable).

Preferred

Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry. Good English communication skills. Experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial robots (e.g., Epson, Yaskawa, etc.). Project management experience.
