Industrial electrician installs, maintains, and repairs complex electrical systems, high-voltage machinery, and automated controls. Key duties include troubleshooting equipment failures, reading technical blueprints, and performing routine preventative maintenance.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Installation: Set up wiring, transformers, motors, and high-voltage electrical equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix complex electrical faults in heavy machinery to prevent production downtime.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on electrical panels, automated systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Compliance: Follow national, state, and local electrical codes alongside strict workplace safety rules.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose root causes of equipment and system breakdowns using hand tools and test instruments.
• Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, adjust, and perform scheduled preventive checks on motors, conveyor systems, and pumps.
• Repair: Disassemble malfunctioning devices to replace broken gears, bearings, or valves and reassemble them to optimal specifications.
• Installation: Set up, calibrate, and align new factory equipment or heavy machinery based on blueprints and technical manuals.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Licensing: Valid Journeyman or Strong History working as an electrician.

How Would You Stand Out

• Strong ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals; working knowledge of PLCs and automated controls.
