Job description
Arden Park Post Acute is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated team at our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in maintenance roles, with a specific focus on HVAC and plumbing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including HVAC and plumbing.
- Identify and troubleshoot maintenance issues quickly and effectively.
- Actively seek solutions to problems and implement repairs or improvements.
- Prioritize the needs of our residents, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other staff to support facility operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility.
- Proficiency in HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
