Position Overview

• Support test and validation activities on large mining equipment.
• Validate the functionality of software and controls features, including requirements execution and system-level testing.
• Collaborate closely with mechanics, instrumentation technicians, and operators.
• Plan, execute, and document machine-level software testing.
• Approximately 20% office-based and 80% hands-on in the shop or local field.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience (internship experience accepted).
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; 2-year degrees not accepted.
• Comparable backgrounds considered: mechanic, construction, or landscaping experience.

Additional Technical Skills:

• Troubleshooting (required)
• Data acquisition (desired)

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Hands-on experience working around heavy equipment, in construction, or on mechanical projects (e.g., cars).
• Experience with planning, executing, and documenting technical work, including data acquisition.
• Exposure to project management or directing day-to-day work with a team is a plus.
