Currently seeking a Machine Shop Programmer to join our Hobby Airport location

Responsibilities of the Machine Shop Programmer include, but are not limited to:

  • Create efficient, accurate, run ready 2, 3 & 5 axis Esprit programs from SolidWorks models
  • Modify Esprit Posts for Mazak Machines
  • Milling - 3 Axis - HCN 6800 - Pallet changer with B axis
  • Turning - 2 axis - STN 500M with live tooling
  • Turning - 2 axis - QTN 350MY with live tooling
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and QC to streamline product line process
  • Assist CNC operators with machine setups
  • Create tooling and setup documentation for each CNC program
  • Create macro programs for probe inspection of each part
  • Work with tooling vendors to stay current with tool cutting technology

Qualifications of the Machine Shop Programmer include, but are not limited to:

  • 5+ years of machine shop experience
  • 5+ years of CNC EIA programming
  • 5+ years programming with Esprit Version 2012 or greater
  • CMM experience/programming is a plus
  • Must be a team player that is able to work in a fast pace multitasking environment
  • Ability to train and work closely with CNC machine operators in order to produce quality parts that meet or exceed established run times

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
