JOB SUMMARY: setting up, operating, and maintaining Formax machinery and related equipment to produce parts, while adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures.  Receives, selects, stores, and loads products and/or materials.  Safely operates all material handling equipment.  Accurately completes all associated paperwork.  Maintains clean work area consistent with company standards.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Inspects incoming and outgoing product.
  • Reads labels and associated documents printed in English.
  • Counts and calculates using basic math skills.
  • Lifts, carries and stacks product up to 75 pounds at a height of up to 7 feet.
  • Maintains high focus in an environment of many obstacles and distractions.
  • Uses push/pull motions in building pallets up to 8 feet high.
  • Operates electric forklift and electric, stand-up rider pallet jack.
  • Maintains productivity and accuracy according to engineered work standards.
  • Cleans work area using a mop, broom, or electric sweeper vac.
  • Due to the nature of our 24-hour business, work schedules vary.
  • Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
  • Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Education and experience equivalent to:

     

    Education/Certification:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Forklift certification required within 30 days of employment

     

    Experience:

    Entry Level . . . OR . . . Previous experience in a fast-paced, food-grade warehouse, safely operating material handling equipment.

    • Endure working in both non temperature-controlled and temperature-controlled environments (chill @ 35 degrees, freezer @ -05 degrees)
