What You'll Be Doing
- Perform fueling and lubrication of mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, and support vehicles
- Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, or maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate service logs and communicate equipment status to maintenance and operations teams
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and support mechanics with basic repairs
- Follow all site-specific underground safety procedures, including ventilation, confined space, and hazardous material protocols
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely service and maintain heavy mobile equipment in an underground or industrial setting
- Working knowledge of lubrication systems, diesel equipment, and preventative maintenance practices
- Strong commitment to safety with the ability to follow underground mining regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment while supporting a team
- Effective communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to equipment care
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
What We Offer
- $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
