Oversees and coordinates patient care activities of assigned nursing unit to maintain and enhance quality of patient care.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift: Clinic hours unless need dictates otherwise
Location: Walworth Hospital & Medical Center
Pay Range: $62,396.55-99,834.48
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs duties of LPN.
- Revises, develops and implements policies and procedures and monitors compliance with the same.
- Interview, supervises and evaluates personnel of assigned units.
- Schedules unit personnel to assure efficient patient flow.
- Participates in planning and promoting public relations.
- Is flexible to work alternate shifts.
- Manages departmentalized budgets involving staff and materials.
- Participates in planning and implementing PI's and Quality initiatives.
- May need to work overtime on more than an occasional basis.

Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited LPN Program OR
Wisconsin: Have completed the portion of the RN Program needed to obtain a certificate of completion in practical nursing.
Illinois: Have completed the designated curriculum of a Ladder Option Approved Designated RN Program.
Three years of LPN experience in a clinical setting, preferably with some supervisory experience
Certification and Licensure
Valid Wisconsin LPN License
CPR Certification; Certain AHA courses such as Heartsaver or HeartCode courses do not meet Mercyhealth standards.

PAY RANGE:
