Position Overview

As an LPN at Verde Valley Assisted Living, you will play a vital role in providing quality nursing care while ensuring the safety, dignity, and comfort of our residents. This position requires strong leadership, clinical skills, attention to detail, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Medication

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely.
• Monitor residents’ health conditions and document changes.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems (PCC preferred).
• Transcribe physician orders and update care plans accordingly.
• Supervise and guide CNAs and nursing assistants on your shift.
• Conduct rounds to ensure quality care and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN/LVN license in Arizona (unencumbered).
• Current CPR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Long-term care or assisted living experience preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR systems (PointClickCare a plus).

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, hands-on caregiving environment.
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Subject to exposure to infectious materials, chemicals, and emotionally demanding situations.
• May require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and during emergencies.
