Programs include inpatient interventions, jail based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long term psychiatric are in coordination with the total system of care in Louisiana&nbsp;</p><div style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0; text-align: center"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">ELMHS is looking for a motivated, detail oriented individual to come and join the team in the Nursing Department as a LPN! The selected candidate will p<span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">rovide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care by administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient behavior, documenting clinical care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, supervising support staff, educating patients, and ensuring compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.</span></span></div><div><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.</span></div>The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found <a href="https://apps01.civilservice.louisiana.gov/onestopjobinfo/DisplayJobSpec.aspx?JobCode=150000" target="_blank"><u>here</u>.</a><p style="margin: 15px 0; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><u>Job Duties: &nbsp;</u></p><p style="margin: 15px 0; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">In this role, you will:</p><ul style="padding-left: 2rem; margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 3pt; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><li>Transcribe doctors' orders accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Prepares, administers, and documents medications and treatments as ordered.&nbsp;</li><li>Document patients' response to medication regimen, PRN and stat dose administration.
