Low Latency C++ Developer

Responsibilities

The Low Latency C++ Developer will work directly with traders, researchers, and other developers to engineer cutting edge, ultra low latency, high throughput trading system solutions and lead infrastructure development projects from conception to deployment. He or she will innovate the frameworks upon which our trading applications are based and benchmark and tune critical software services to achieve optimum performance.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience

• Advanced proficiency with C/C++ systems development in a Linux environment
• Demonstrable success building high performance software
• Experience building latency sensitive systems with a strong understanding of low level aspects
• Strong understanding of hardware stack and hardware architecture from a latency perspective
• Strong understanding of network protocols
• Experience writing assembly code desirable
• Knowledge of operating system internals and Linux kernel
• High Frequency Trading
• Experience designing gateways or price feeds 
• Hacking
