One of our most trusted clients has an immediate opening for a Lot Attendant for their parking garage located in Baltimore. Schedule: Rotating shifts, including weekends (mandatory); shifts typically end between 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM


Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure reliability, punctuality, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  2. Utilize basic computer skills for reporting purposes.
  3. Demonstrate expertise in customer service, addressing customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  4. Practice good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  5. Complete written reports as required.
  6. Perform light housekeeping duties, maintaining cleanliness of office area and conducting light sweeping inside the garage during downtime.
  7. Monitor and maintain proper functioning of all machines, including cleaning and upkeep of surrounding areas. Promptly report any malfunctions to the Parking Manager.
  8. Exercise vigilance at the Pay Station, observing customer transactions to prevent machine jams or issues with payment methods.
  9. Ensure cleanliness of the garage office lobby, restroom, and promptly dispose of trash.
  10. Account for all signage during business hours, ensuring they are properly placed, and secure them when the garage is closed. Conduct checks at the beginning and end of each shift.
  11. Refill token machines as needed, before lunch breaks, and at the end of the shift.
  12. Monitor the condition of all equipment and notify the Parking Manager of any maintenance requirements or cleaning situations that necessitate additional assistance.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical ability to perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
