Apply to this jobWe are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Logistics Manager to join our team, reporting into the Project Director. This position will be site-based in Espoo, Finland, and will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating all site logistics and material movement to ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery of works.
Requirements
- Manage the site compound and all designated storage areas to maximise efficiency and safety.
- Oversee the booking and coordination of material deliveries to and from the site.
- Coordinate closely with subcontractors to ensure clear understanding of delivery schedules, storage locations, and access routes from off-site facilities to the project site.
- Maintain strong organisational control of site deliveries to ensure materials arrive in a structured and orderly manner.
- Attend pre-start meetings with subcontractors to communicate site logistics procedures, storage limitations, and delivery booking requirements via the Datascope system.
- Manage and monitor traffic movement across the site, ensuring safe and efficient flow of vehicles and deliveries.
- Promote a “just-in-time” delivery approach with all subcontractors to reduce congestion and optimise site operations.
Benefits
- 3rd level qualification in an engineering or construction-related discipline is desirable; however, a strong trades background with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role will also be considered.
- Ideally, 2+ years’ experience in a logistics or materials management role on large-scale construction projects.
