Logistics Manager

Our Client

Our client is a Singapore-based multinational food and beverage company specializing in the production and distribution of instant beverages, particularly coffee mixes and non-dairy creamers. With a strong presence across Asia, Eastern Europe, and other emerging markets, the company focuses on delivering affordable, mass-market products while continuously optimizing cost efficiency and product formulations. Its operations are supported by manufacturing facilities, including in Malaysia, and it actively competes with Chinese producers by exploring innovations in ingredients and production processes to maintain competitiveness in pricing and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage international logistics operations, with a primary focus on sea transportation.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with shipping companies and international freight forwarders.
• Apply knowledge of international commercial terms and international shipping risk management to support logistics operations.
• Negotiate with logistics partners to achieve favorable commercial terms and optimize logistics costs.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure efficient coordination of logistics activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in handling international logistics, particularly sea transportation.

• Well-connected with shipping companies and international freight forwarders.
• Strong knowledge of international commercial terms and international shipping risk management.
• Proven negotiation skills with experience in cost optimization.
• Experience working closely with warehouse operations.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Malay.
• Strong team player with leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Well-organized with strong documentation skills.
