Job description
The Logistics Assistant is responsible for supporting Logistics Specialists/Logistics Leads in coordinating logistics activities for
assigned drilling rigs. The primary focus of the role is day-to-day operations, including creating Transport Orders (TOs),
Purchase Orders (POs), and matching invoices in the system to ensure timely equipment delivery. The Documentation
management and meeting team and individual objectives and KPIs are crucial aspects of the role.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the Logistics Planners and Specialists in the day to day logistics support to the rigs 

  • Creating PO’s (Purchase Order), TO’s (Transport Order) and following up with suppliers as required

  • Helping match invoices as required

  • Following up on shipments/TO’s (Transport Order) as required by Logistics Team and/or rig

  • All roles and responsibilities should be performed in compliance to our SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)  

  • Maintain correct and sufficient documentation for all shipments using IFS and shipping documents

Our Requirements

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English 

  • Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Preferred but not required qualifications: Experience working with an ERP system; Logistics/Supply Chain experience

  • Logistics/Supply Chain education;

  • Work experience within the Freight Forwarding industry

  • Strong sense of ownership, willingness to go the extra mile
