We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Localization Talent Manager to join our growing global team. In this role you will drive talent acquisition, development and retention initiatives tailored to the unique needs of localization, ensuring we attract and nurture exceptional linguists, project managers and technical specialists.

About the Opportunity

As Localization Talent Manager, you will lead end-to-end talent activities for the Translation & Localization function. You will partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to define role requirements, source and assess candidates with strong technical experience, and ensure an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience. Your focus on teamwork, customer service and time management will help us scale operations while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Talent Management & Acquisition

  • Lead full recruitment lifecycle for localisation roles including linguists, localisation engineers, QA specialists and project managers.

  • Design and execute sourcing strategies across multiple channels (proprietary databases, marketplaces, agencies and communities) to build diverse talent pipelines.

  • Develop and maintain role-specific assessment frameworks to evaluate technical experience, language skills and fit for localisation workflows.

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to define job profiles, priorities and timeframes while ensuring SLAs and hiring targets are met.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to interviewers on competency-based assessment, inclusive hiring and candidate feedback.

  • Manage offer process, negotiations and onboarding activities to ensure a seamless candidate experience and high acceptance rates.

  • Track and report recruitment metrics and time-to-fill, and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of hire.

Skills: Essential Qualities for Success

Technical Experience

  • Practical understanding of translation technologies (CAT tools, TMS, MT, terminology management) and ability to evaluate technical competencies of candidates.

  • Experience working with technical job descriptions and assessing localisation engineering skills.

Teamwork

  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers, project teams and external suppliers to align hiring priorities with operational needs.

  • Provide training, mentoring and support to internal stakeholders to improve recruitment outcomes.

English Proficiency

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate clearly with international teams, candidates and clients.

Time Management

  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and hiring projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high attention to detail.

  • Prioritise tasks effectively and escalate risks to ensure SLAs are achieved.

Customer Focus

  • Deliver a positive and responsive experience to both internal clients (hiring managers) and external customers (candidates, agencies, vendors).

  • Gather and act on feedback to continuously improve the hiring and onboarding experience.

Communication

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for stakeholder alignment, candidate engagement and reporting to senior leadership.

  • Provide clear, timely and constructive feedback to candidates and hiring teams.

Qualifications: What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Linguistics, Translation Studies, Business Administration or a related field.

  • 2+ years’ experience in recruitment or talent management, preferably within the Translation & Localization or Language Services industry.

  • Demonstrable technical familiarity with localisation tools and workflows; experience assessing technical roles is highly desirable.

  • Proven ability to work across geographically distributed teams and with external vendors and freelance communities.

  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics; strong MS Office skills.
