Loader/Operator - Gualala, CA

Redwood Waste Solutions, Inc., a Waste Connections company, has an immediate opening for a Loader/Operator out of their Transfer Station in Gualala, CA!

Schedule is Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM.

Starting pay is $24.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Greeting customers as they enter the site, directing them where to go 

• Cart delivery and pickup operating a company pickup.

• Operating loaders and other equipment

• Cash handling 

• Assessing loads/material for payment  ​

• Ensuring all material entering the transfer station is appropriate. 

• Traffic directing to ensure customers park in the correct area at the transfer station

• Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing 

• General site cleanup as needed 

• Friendly customer service 

Requirements: 

• At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a customer service type position. 

• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds in this labor intensive position 

• Experience operating equipment is a plus 

• Valid drivers license

• Clean driving record

• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift 

• Ability to stand on your feet throughout an 8 to 10 hour shift.
