We are seeking an experienced and highly structured LNG & LNG-to-Power IPP Bid Manager (Technical) to lead developer-side bid preparation and project development support for LNG-to-Power and Gas IPP projects across Asia, the Middle East, and emerging markets.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, interface with commercial structuring, and project bankability. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technical design assumptions to develop competitive, bankable IPP bid submissions.

The position requires strong coordination with technical teams, financial advisors, sponsors, EPC contractors, and lenders.

Qualifications:

  • 10- 12 years of experience in the LNG, Oil & Gas (O&G) industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering + MBA

Key Responsibilities

  1. IPP Bid Preparation & Coordination
  • Lead and develop LNG-to-Power and Gas IPP competitive bid documents, reports
  • Structure and compile complete technical and commercial proposal volumes
  • Ensure compliance with RFP and tender requirements
  • Develop bid strategy aligned with sponsor objectives
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across engineering, commercial, and financial teams
  1. Technical Integration & Development
  • Define overall LNG-to-Power configuration (FSRU / Onshore Terminal + CCGT)
  • Establish key technical parameters, including:
    • Plant capacity and configuration
    • Availability guarantees
    • Heat rate assumptions
    • LNG storage and regasification capacity
  • Identify interface risks between the LNG terminal and the power plant
  • Align engineering assumptions with financial model requirements
  1. IPP Project Development 
  • Develop early-stage feasibility studies 
  • Support site assessment and configuration optimization
  • Participate in sponsor discussions and project strategy development
  • Assist in the development of bankable project documentation
  • Direct involvement in at least 2–3 IPP bidding cycles (developer-side preferred)
  • Experience coordinating financial model inputs with technical assumptions
  • Exposure to LNG-to-Power or Gas-to-Power projects
  • Experience in Asia, Middle East, or emerging markets preferred
  • Experience interfacing with lenders and financial advisors strongly preferred
