Position Description:

The University of Louisville Golf Club (ULGC) in Simpsonville, KY is seeking candidates for a Line Cook position. The Line Cook for the University of Louisville Golf Club (ULGC) will prepare food in accordance with company recipes and standards to maintain the highest food quality for club members and guests. This position will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as determined by club operations.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and serve all food items following established portions and presentation standards. 

  • Set up service units and prep cook station with needed items; maintain and break down as needed.

  • Ensure assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary according to company standards and state and local health and safety regulations. 

  • Maintain a neat professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules and sanitation standards at all times.

  • Requisition items needed to produce menu items. Cover, date, and neatly store all leftover products that are reusable. 

  • Assist with inventory control, receipt of goods, and counts.

  • Ensure operations comply with all state and federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to food and beverage sanitation, alcohol and tobacco, and ADA requirements.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree in Culinary Science, Foodservice Systems Administration/Management, Hotel /Restaurant Management desirable.

  • Compliant with all food safety health codes and required certifications.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
