Be a part of a fun and exciting Lighting Department Team at Codale Electric Supply. The Lighting Department works with internal customers, contractors, and end-users to provide state-of-the-art lighting and control solutions.

 

What You'll Do

  • Provide internal and external customers with quality lighting and lighting control solutions.
  • Establish relationships with end users and contractors.
  • Site audits to assess energy savings opportunities.
  • Provide expertise on design-build opportunities.
  • Determine the best products to use in retrofit applications.
  • Educate internal and external customers by facilitating training sessions.
  • Provide the best solutions to fit within expected budget parameters.
  • Drive business by seeking out new lighting opportunities and new customers.
  • Create photometric layouts.
  • Eager to learn about the most current LED and lighting control technology.
  • Build relationships with lighting manufacturer representatives.

 

What You'll Need

  • 3-5 years of lighting or electrical industry experience required.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.
  • Bluebeam software experience preferred.
  • AGI software experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of various lighting control systems.
  • Experience as a factory representative, designer, architect, electrical engineer, consultant, distributor, or electrical contractor desired.
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills are a must.
  • Requires occasional travel and customer entertainment. 
  • Willingness to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
