In this vital role, you’ll help ensure the integrity and safety of Louisiana’s construction industry by managing contractor licensing from application through compliance. This role allows diverse responsibilities that blend administrative, investigative, and customer service elements, offering variety in day-to-day tasks.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Key Competencies:&nbsp;</strong><br><strong>Analytical Skills:</strong> Ability to evaluate financial documents, legal filings, and insurance coverage to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.<br><strong>Attention to Detail</strong>: Reviewing and verifying credentialing documents, licenses, and applications requires high accuracy and thoroughness.<br><strong>Communication</strong>: Strong written and verbal communication for interacting with applicants, licensees, legal entities, and state boards.<br><strong>Technical Proficiency:&nbsp;</strong>Competency in data entry and database management.<br><strong>Investigative &amp; Decision-Making Abilities:</strong> Conducting interviews, evaluating qualifications, and making eligibility determinations.<br><strong>Customer Service Orientation:</strong> Assisting contractors and licensees with the application and renewal processes.<br><strong>Organizational &amp; Multitasking Skills:</strong> Managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously<span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">Three years of experience in the issuance, maintenance, or reinstatement of licenses; OR</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">A bachelor's degree.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field.
