Licensed Practical Nurse 72 Hours Per Pay Period

As the Licensed Practical Nurse you will be providing work direction to Nursing Aides, Passing Medications and providing cares typically done by an LPN at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Qualifications:
• Have and maintain current licensure as a MN Licensed Practical Nurse and CPR Certificate
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as doctor’s orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to read and/or write routine reports, correspondence, and resident documentation
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Must understand and communicate with specialized medical terminology
• Must be adaptable and flexible to changing situations and be able to organize work efficiently
• Must be compassionate toward the elderly, and work with tact and ethical awareness
• Must maintain resident’s confidentiality
