The actual location of this job is in Basel, Switzerland.

To be a intern in our Basel legal team, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate. We are looking for an intern with interest in corporate matters, contracting and contract and AI technology tools. This is an office‑first role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).

What you'll do:

  • Supporting role in a global role out of a Contract Life Cycle Management Tool
  • Support with drafting and harmonizing a full suite of contracts.
  • Support with respect to all other legal aspects of work on M&A, transactions and strategic projects, as required.
  • Act as a business legal partner with internal clients of the company.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by General Counsel, Corporate and Associate General Counsel, Corporate.
  • A proactive member of the team who is keen to learn and work in a fast paced environment.
  • Team player who is comfortable working with all levels of management.

  • Legal studies – currently completing or completed.
  • Keen interest in contract drafting in plain English.
  • Keen interest in M&A and corporate or commercial projects.
  • Experience or understanding of contract law (civil law and common law) and corporate matters.
  • At ease in drafting legal documents and communicating in English (German, French, Spanish or other languages also helpful).
