The Opportunity

As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you'll play an integral role in supporting lawyers across a diverse and rewarding caseload. You'll help keep matters progressing smoothly by managing administrative and legal support activities while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisation, strong attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage competing priorities.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality administrative and litigation support to lawyers.
  • Managing client communications and acting as a key point of contact.
  • Coordinating appointments, diaries and file management.
  • Preparing legal correspondence and court documents.
  • Assisting with court preparation, including briefs, court books, hearing materials and subpoenas.
  • Following up with clients, medical providers, insurers and other stakeholders to ensure matters progress efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and databases.
  • Supporting billing processes and general practice administration.
  • Working collaboratively with lawyers and fellow legal assistants to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

About you

You'll be someone who thrives in a busy legal environment and enjoys being a trusted support to your team.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or strong administration experience
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Initiative, professionalism and a client-first approach.
