The Department of Fine Arts at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for FA 16b Sculpture: Object in Clay, a 4-credit course, in the fall 2026 semester. This course introduces a class of 12 undergraduates to sculptural concepts and techniques. The course meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 to 5:20.

Candidates with an MFA in Fine Arts and teaching experience will be given preference. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, a draft course syllabus, and names and contact information for two references. The deadline for first consideration is Friday, August 7, 2026.

This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509. 

The compensation for this assignment is $8764.20.
