Qualifications & Experience

• Master's Degree in Economics, Statistics & Quantitative Studies, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years' teaching experience in a Higher Education institution.
• Evidence of research output, publications, and other scholarly activities will be an added advantage.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, workshops, and online learning activities in Economics, Statistics, and Entrepreneurship, ensuring effective student engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
• Develop, administer, and moderate assessments while providing timely, constructive feedback to students.
• Monitor student academic progress and provide academic guidance and support to enhance student success and retention.
• Participate in academic administration, programme development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to research, publications, consultancy, innovation, and other scholarly activities that strengthen the University's academic profile.
• Supervise student research projects and dissertations where applicable.
• Participate in faculty, departmental, and University committees, as well as community engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to curriculum review and enhancement of teaching and learning practices.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Faculty leadership.
