Learning & Workforce Reinvention - Management Consulting Manager
Accenture
Learning & Workforce Reinvention Manager
Location: London, Manchester, Edinburgh
Career Level: CL7 — Management Consulting Manager
Workforce capability is now a C-Suite priority. AI is compressing skill half-lives, rewriting job architectures and creating an urgent capability gap that traditional learning organisations are not built to close. CHROs and CLOs are under pressure to move from costly, fragmented training to personalised, AI-powered capability building that delivers measurable business performance — not just course completions.
Accenture's Learning practice is at the forefront of this reinvention. Powered by LearnVantage — our AI-native enterprise learning business and platform — we help the world's largest organisations redesign how they build and sustain workforce capability at scale. We are growing fast, building a distinct market presence within Accenture's Talent Reinvention practice, and we are looking for a learning consulting leader who wants to shape this space — not just deliver in it.
As a team
You will join the Learning offering within Accenture's Talent Reinvention practice — a growth-oriented team that operates at the intersection of consulting, AI and enterprise transformation. We are not a traditional L&D function. We work with CHROs, CLOs and business leaders to redesign learning operating models, deploy AI-enabled platforms, build enterprise AI skilling programmes, and deliver end-to-end learning transformation.
The Learning offering is part of a broader Talent Reinvention practice that works across the full talent and transformation agenda — spanning workforce strategy, organisation design, change and adoption, talent operating model, and skills-based organisation design. You will be expected to operate comfortably across this breadth, connecting learning and skilling to the wider talent reinvention work our clients need.
We operate as one team with our LearnVantage product colleagues — joint pipeline, joint delivery, joint ambition.
In this role you will
- Act as engagement lead on client programmes — taking overall responsibility for delivery, client relationships, team coordination and outcomes across complex, multi-workstream learning and workforce transformation engagements.
- Be the person who can run the whole programme: overseeing learning experience design, content and learning development, platform implementation, delivery management and stakeholder engagement end-to-end.
- Help architect enterprise-scale skilling solutions: advising clients on how to structure content ecosystems, integrate learning platforms and skills data, deploy AI tools, and/or build the operating model to sustain capability at scale.
- Work fluidly across the talent and transformation agenda: connecting learning and skilling work to organisation design, change management, workforce strategy and talent operating model projects as client needs require.
- Serve as a credible advisor on modern learning technology ecosystems: guiding clients through product or platform strategy and selection, with experience engaging senior stakeholders across learning, talent and business functions.
- Design and lead enterprise AI skilling programmes — moving beyond awareness training to build role-specific capability that changes how people work.
- Drive business development: identifying and shaping new opportunities, contributing to proposals and bid processes, and helping grow client accounts as part of a market-building team.
- Coach and develop junior team members; create the conditions for analysts and consultants to perform at their best.
- Contribute to practice development: building reusable assets, developing propositions and strengthening the team's market position.
We are looking for
- A track record of leading end-to-end client engagements in learning, workforce transformation, talent or adjacent consulting — not just contributing to workstreams, but owning delivery and client outcomes.
- Consulting or projects-based background: we are looking for consultants who understand the need for outcomes, value, delivery as well as an understanding of learning as a specialism
- Comfort and credibility across the broader talent and transformation agenda: you have worked across or alongside organisation design, change and adoption, workforce strategy or talent operating model work — and can connect the learning thread to the wider transformation story a client is living through.
- Experience with modern learning technology ecosystems: you can advise clients on content products, platform strategy and have worked with AI-enabled learning platforms or LXPs in a client or advisory context.
- Commercial capability: you have contributed to business development, understand how consulting opportunities are shaped and won, and are motivated by market growth as well as delivery excellence.
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders across learning, talent and business functions — with the confidence to influence and challenge at a senior level.
- The ability to think at enterprise scale: how do you design a skilling solution that works for 50,000 people, not just a cohort?
- Leadership capability: you can build and lead a delivery team, develop talent and maintain quality across complex engagements.
- Preferred experience
- Demonstrated experience applying AI, automation or emerging technology to learning, talent or workforce transformation challenges — evidenced through specific client examples.
- Experience with AI-enabled learning platforms or modern learning technology ecosystems; exposure to LXPs and skills intelligence tools.
- Background from management consulting (human capital, people & organisation, workforce transformation practices), learning and skills consultancies, or workforce and HR technology companies in an advisory or solutions capacity.
- Experience contributing to winning proposals or business development processes.
What's in it for you
At Accenture, in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also have an extensive benefits package which includes 30 days' vacation per year, private medical insurance and 3 extra days leave per year for charitable work of your choice.
Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role as there will be requirements to spend time onsite with our clients and partners.
