About the role 

As the Lead -WC Chiller Sustaining & Value Engineer for Carrier., you’ll executes elements of product development activities and testing. Responsible for enhancing commonality and optimization of product and components.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Product Engineering – Responsible for Design, development & localization

• Value Engineering – Drive VAVE & product optimization efforts for Chillers  

• Problem Resolution – Support Troubleshooting, RCA & field support

• Custom Engineering – Manage ETO/MTO & customer specific solutions

• Customer Support – Drive Technical proposals & requirements management  

• Collaboration – Drive Cross-functional & cross regional alignments

• Compliance – Standards & regulatory certifications (BEE, AHRI, ASME, QCO)

• Quality & Reliability – Continuous improvement

• Validation – Testing, verification & certification

• Execution – End-to-end delivery (concept → release), timeline & risk control

Requirements 

• Chiller Expertise – Screw, Scroll, Centrifugal

• Minimum of 8-12 Yrs experience in Product and Value Engineering

• Minimum qualification is B.E/B.Tech graduate

• Thermal & Performance Engineering – Testing, AHRI / BEE / ASME

• Design-to-Value – Cost reduction & optimisation

• Problem Solving – Troubleshooting & RCA

• Application Engineering – ETO/MTO customisation

• Execution – Projects, risk & delivery excellence

• Collaboration – Cross-functional leadership

• Leadership – Team building & influencing
