Lead UX/UI Designer

Our client's software provides communication and transaction tools between major brick & mortar retailers and their suppliers. The platform focuses on giving users the ability to draw insight and execute; reducing the time and friction in buying, selling, and tracking goods. We are looking for an experienced designer to lead UX, UI, and interaction design to craft a delightful product for our users. This opportunity is ONLY available for an onsite team member (Pasadena/San Marino, CA).

Responsibilities 
-Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience 
-Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering (production ready) for responsive web interfaces 
-Create wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas 
-Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders 
-Collaborate with UX lead to conduct user research and evaluate user feedback 

-5+ years of industry experience 
-Strong portfolio of experience and interaction design 
-Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or other visual design tools 
-Familiarity HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping 
-Up-to-date with the latest responsive web UI trends, techniques, and technologies 
-BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
