Description: 
We are seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer to deliver roadmap features of Enterprise TruRisk Platform which would help customers to Measure, Communicate and Eliminate Cyber Risks. 
Working with a team of engineers and architects, you will be responsible for prototyping, designing, developing and supporting a highly scalable, distributed SaaS based Security Risk Prioritization product. 
This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of a team building Qualys next generation platform using Big Data & Micro-Services based technology to process over billions of transactions data per day, leverage open-source technologies, and work on challenging and business-impacting initiatives. 

Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery of features, ensuring quality, performance, security, and scalability requirements are met.
• Drive architecture and design discussions for distributed and cloud-native systems.
• Provide technical leadership through solution design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management, QA, DevOps, Architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design robust and maintainable solutions that support business growth and evolving customer needs.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues, including root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability improvements, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, prioritization, and release management activities.
• Guide and mentor engineers, fostering technical growth, accountability, and a culture of continuous learning.
• Promote engineering excellence by establishing and enforcing coding standards, design principles, and development best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of commitments.

Requirements:

• Candidate having 7+ years of experience in Enterprise Application Backend
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2ee, including Spring framework
• Experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of Microservices, Kafka, Redis, NOSQL, RESTful APIs, HTTP, Web server, etc.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with SAAS based software products and solutions for service oriented deployment in public or private clouds
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS / NoSQL database like Cassandra will be a plus
• Experience in developing search based applications using Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
• Experience in monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting production systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana,ELK, or AppDynamics.
• Agile Development with Scrum, Waterfall, Iterative or mix of any of them based on projects
• Experience working with large-scale data processing technologies such as Spark and Hadoop is a plus.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Engineering equivalents
