Shipping Lead: Responsible for the coordination and completion of the outbound shipping process of finished goods to its’ respective customers, which includes the use of a computer-generated system. Reports to the Active Shipping Supervisor.

  High school diploma or equivalent preferred

·       Must have previous experience in a distribution facility

·       Some basic computer skills/knowledge

·       Some knowledge of shipping

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

·       Job may require weekends and long hours during peak season

·       Must be organized

·       Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

·       Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.

·       Ability to read, write, and understand English

·       Good interpersonal skills

·       Ability to walk for an 8-hour workday

·       Reasoning skills and attention to detail

HOURS:

1st Shift: Hours will be 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Some daily overtime and work on Saturdays may be required, when necessary.
