Job Description Summary
The Robotics&Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting robotics, and digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations. The role focuses on improving safety, quality, productivity, sustainability, and operational efficiency through the application of industrial automation, Industry 4.0 technologies, AI-enabled solutionsThe candidate will work closely with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, IT/Digital Technology, and external suppliers to deliver automation projects from concept through implementation while ensuring reliable and sustainable plant.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead robotics and automation transformation projects from concept, engineering, commissioning, and handover to production
- Support manufacturing operations by ensuring the reliability, optimization, and continuous improvement of automation systems
- Utilize Industry 4.0 technologies, industrial networking, AI-enabled applications, and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, IT/Digital Technology, and external suppliers to deliver effective technical solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies and promoting digital innovation across manufacturing operations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical and/or electronics engineering, automation engineering, robotics engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing industrial automation systems in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with industrial networking and automation architectures
- Knowledge of industrial databases and manufacturing data collection systems
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, Industrial instrumentation, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo systems
- Good verbal and written skills in English and Turkish
- Willing to work at Gebze plant
