 La Crosse, WI

Shift/Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm 

Pay range:

$26.60/hr

About the Role

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain a safe and controlled work environment by using required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all safety, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and security procedures.
  • Assist shift staff and manage schedule changes as needed.
  • Provide guidance and direction to resolve problems, questions, and concerns.
  • Collect samples and perform analytical testing for:
    • Reverse osmosis (RO) syste
    • Finished syrup and beverages
    • Packaging
    • Net content
    • Coding compliance
    • Sensory evaluation
  • Follow established testing methods, requirements, and frequencies.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on laboratory equipment.
  • Conduct microbiological sampling, including filtering, incubation, and interpretation of results.
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Send beverage samples to the parent company for evaluation.
  • Receive and inspect raw materials (including CO₂ and nitrogen).
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to complete daily tasks.
  • Follow written procedures and directives from the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Cross-train in QA laboratory, blending, and sanitation functions.
  • Interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions as needed.
  • Understand and support the filling process.
  • Assist with training new hires and co-workers, and contribute to QA program evaluation and improvement efforts.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future
  • Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
