About the Role
What You'll Do:
- Maintain a safe and controlled work environment by using required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all safety, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and security procedures.
- Assist shift staff and manage schedule changes as needed.
- Provide guidance and direction to resolve problems, questions, and concerns.
- Collect samples and perform analytical testing for:
- Reverse osmosis (RO) syste
- Finished syrup and beverages
- Packaging
- Net content
- Coding compliance
- Sensory evaluation
- Follow established testing methods, requirements, and frequencies.
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on laboratory equipment.
- Conduct microbiological sampling, including filtering, incubation, and interpretation of results.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Send beverage samples to the parent company for evaluation.
- Receive and inspect raw materials (including CO₂ and nitrogen).
- Work independently with minimal supervision to complete daily tasks.
- Follow written procedures and directives from the Quality Assurance Manager
- Cross-train in QA laboratory, blending, and sanitation functions.
- Interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions as needed.
- Understand and support the filling process.
- Assist with training new hires and co-workers, and contribute to QA program evaluation and improvement efforts.

What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
