We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Production Scheduler to join our Planning team. Reporting to the Supply Planner, this key technical leadership role is responsible for leading the production scheduling process across our chilled manufacturing operations, encompassing both semi-finished and finished goods.

Working within a hybrid model, you will develop and execute integrated production plans, using SAP to optimise service levels, cost efficiencies, and manufacturing capacity. Partnering closely with Operations, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain teams, you will play a critical role in driving effective decision-making and ensuring the smooth execution of production plans. This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced Production Scheduler looking to take the next step into a lead role and make a significant impact across the business.

Note, this role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in Colac, Victoria, 3250

What’s the Scoop?

  • Own and manage a rolling 13-week production plan, aligned to demand and operational capability
  • Develop and oversee weekly and daily production schedules to maximise capacity and minimise downtime
  • Act as the single source of truth within SAP for all production planning activities
  • Partner closely with Supply Planning and Demand to balance supply and meet customer requirements
  • Monitor inventory projections and proactively manage risks (e.g. out-of-stocks, excess)
  • Lead weekly supply review processes and contribute to S&OE forums
  • Drive continuous improvement across scheduling, reporting, and planning processes
  • Provide insights through reporting, scorecards, and analysis to support decision-making

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing planning or scheduling
  • Strong technical capability across production scheduling and capacity planning
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and reporting tools
  • A proven ability to analyse data, solve problems, and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • A continuous improvement focus and the confidence to lead outcomes
