Built on an open, modular, cloud-native architecture, Sabre serves as the backbone for both established leaders and bold, new disruptors, guiding them to the next age of travel retailing through intelligent, connected, and personalized experiences. Lead Product Owner - eCommerce Platform

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious, analytics-driven, and customer-obsessed Lead Product Owner to shape the future of our digital commerce platform. Our solution serves as the primary digital backbone for global airlines—powering high-velocity shopping, booking, post-purchase servicing, and omnichannel engagement for millions of travelers.

As the airline industry undergoes a generational shift from legacy PSS and PNR/e-ticket-based infrastructure to modern Offer & Order Management Systems (OOMS), this role will be at the tip of the spear. You will lead the product strategy to transition legacy workflows into modular, modern retailing architectures while ensuring our digital commerce engine remains customizable, scalable, and enterprise-ready.

What You’ll Do

  • Offer & Order Product Vision: Drive the multi-year roadmap for our digital commerce engine, leading the transition from legacy PNR, EMD, and ticket-based workflows to modern IATA Offer & Order standards.

  • Modern Retailing Architecture: Lead and deliver best in class UX platform for offer creation, dynamic bundle/ancillary management, and streamlined order fulfillment/servicing that decouple front-end experiences from legacy PSS constraints.

  • Platform Extensibility & Modernization: Lead platform modernization initiatives focused on microservices, APIs, extensibility frameworks, and white-label customization—enabling airlines to adapt their retailing strategies without branching core code.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Principal Architects, Engineering Leads, Product Designers, and Client Delivery teams to bridge complex legacy tech debt.

  • Strategic Roadmap Prioritization: Balance complex enterprise customer demands, legacy system migration trade-offs, tech debt investments, and long-term product vision using rigorous framework-driven decision-making.

  • Enterprise Customer & Industry Engagement: Serve as the subject matter expert in client discussions, Customer Advisory Boards, and co-innovation initiatives guiding airline partners through their Offer & Order transformation journeys.

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Establish telemetry, funnel analytics, and experimentation frameworks to measure offer conversion, ancillary attach rates, order servicing efficiency, and total revenue per passenger.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 6+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise SaaS, B2B2C travel tech, headless commerce, or complex transactional platform environments.

  • Domain & Migration Expertise: Proven understanding of the airline retailing ecosystem, including experience with legacy PSS environments and the transition toward Offer & Order models.

  • Technical Depth: Deep working knowledge of RESTful/GraphQL APIs, microservices, enterprise integrations, and modern distribution standards.

  • Enterprise Navigational Skills: Ability to navigate complex organizational structures, align senior stakeholders (internal and external), and manage trade-offs between legacy stability and modern architecture.

  • UX & Customer Focus: Human-centered design mindset with experience translating complicated order management and post-booking servicing logic into intuitive user experiences.

  • Analytical Mastery: Strong proficiency with funnel analytics, A/B testing methodologies, and product performance metrics to validate platform investments.

  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation skills—capable of translating complex architectural shifts into clear business value for C-suite audiences.

Why Join Us

  • Industry Transformation: Play a pivotal role in modernizing how the global airline industry sells, fulfills, and services travel.

  • High-Impact Ownership: Enjoy end-to-end autonomy over a critical architectural transformation.

  • Complex Technical Strategy: Solve some of the most challenging systems, data models, and user experience problems in travel tech today.

Work arrangements

  • Hybrid working mode; 3 chosen days from the office in a week

  • Flexible working hours: Maintain your work-life balance by adjusting your working hours to your needs
