Link Rehab and Wellness is looking to hire a passionate Lead COTA, interested in working at an assisted living facility. The Lead Therapist is responsible for day-to-day clinical operations of the therapy team onsite. This is a great opportunity for a therapist to grow in their career and broaden their managerial skill set!
Responsibilities:
- Caseload development for all disciplines (OT/PT/ST)
- Supporting therapy staff (provide staff oversight, staff scheduling, patient scheduling, coverage)
- Creating and maintaining relationships with center management
- Ensuring highest level of integrity and ethics are upheld by therapy team
- Assist with retrieving scripts/doctor’s orders as requested by DOR
- Complete evaluations, daily notes, weekly progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation in a timely manner and in accordance to CMS guidelines and as allowed by license
- Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the physician and allowed by license
- Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care
- Adhere to scheduled hours
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program or university
- License and Certification: Valid professional state license and registration
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, families, and other stakeholders.
- Leadership Abilities: The ability to inspire and lead a team, manage conflicts, and make strategic decisions.
- Clinical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment, and treatment techniques.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Compensation (from employer):
