Lead Manufacturing Engineer

Part of Dover Corporation’s Engineered Systems segment, Vehicle Service Group (VSG) is a strong, diverse and dynamic global leader in the vehicle service industry. VSG comprises 13 major vehicle lifting, wheel service, diagnostic and collision repair brands: Rotary Lift®, Chief®, Forward®, Direct-Lift®, Ravaglioli, Hanmecson®, Revolution®, Elektron, Blitz, Nogra, Butler, Space and Sirio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1、Lead technical specification development for new equipment and automation projects, supplier evaluation, and return on investment (ROI) justification, always aligned with lean principles.

2、Design and develop standardized process and procedure documents, including work instructions, process flowcharts, etc. Define critical process parameters.    

3、Apply industrial engineering methods to establish and maintain a scientific standard time system, to identify efficiency losses through rhythm analysis and production line balance, lead bottleneck break through improvement projects.

4、Optimize existing factory layout based on lean logistics principles, reduce handling waste, lower work-in-progress inventory, and improve space utilization.

5、Support production readiness plan: process design, tooling and fixture development, operator training, pilot production evaluation.

6、Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and minimize downtime.

7、Other jobs assigned by the superior.

OVERALL QUALIFICATIONS – Skills and Experience:

1、Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering

2、Over 8 years working experience in mechanical engineering industry

‌‌3、AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Creo, MS Office Suite, ERP familiarity

4、Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills, with proven ability to effectively communicate and influence across functions and at all levels of the organization

5、Good command of English & Mandarin both in written and oral
