Lead-Insurance Management

• Facilitates and/or coordinates with the assigned IM Specialists the establishment and implementation of effective insurance programs for the Company’s insurable risks on commercially reasonable terms.  As the Company’s business, assets and operations are exposed to insurable risks such as natural catastrophe, machinery breakdown, political violence and liabilities to third parties, an effective insurance program is a key risk transfer tool that provides mitigation of the effects the Company‘s exposure to such insurable risks.  

• Facilitates and/or coordinates with the assigned IM Specialists the Company’s insurance claims to ensure that claims are promptly notified, filed, documented, adjusted, settled and paid.

• IM Specialist Team Lead in interfacing with insurance providers and brokers to negotiate preferred terms, coverage, and pricing.

• Document and periodically recommend improvement to streamline and simplify the business process.

• Educate, synchronize and implement best practices to the IM team.
