[What the role is]

The Business Partner / CET Programme Facilitator plays an important role in driving the growth of Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP). This includes managing internal partnerships with units in NYP, liaising with external agencies, managing and administering CET programmes, and promoting CET offerings.

[What you will be working on]

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

  • Corporate Lead Generation: Proactively identify, target, and engage potential corporate clients, SMEs, and industry partners to promote NYP’s workforce upskilling and CET capabilities.

  • B2B Account Management: Manage initial client consultations, diagnose organisational skills gaps, and coordinate across senior management and internal teams to pitch tailored corporate training solutions.

  • Industry Networks: Establish and maintain strong networks with industry associations, trade chambers, and corporate partners to build a robust pipeline for bespoke corporate training programmes.

2. Market Intelligence & Solutioning

  • Market-Led Insight Gathering: Conduct targeted market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring to identify emerging skills demands and gaps in the CET landscape.

  • Translating Industry Needs: Translate market intelligence into actionable commercial insights, partnering with School CET leads to design agile, market-relevant training solutions that address immediate industry needs.

  • Campaign & Outreach Integration: Collaborate closely with corporate marketing teams to design targeted outreach campaigns, lead professional roadshows, and execute high-impact industry engagement events.

3. Internal Partnership & Programme Management

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary CET Business Partner to NYP School(s) and internal units. This includes regular engagement to understand their capabilities and capacity for CET programme delivery.

  • Programme Coordination: Work collaboratively with Schools’ CET colleagues to manage and administer CET programmes. This includes aspects like budget planning, course approval and accreditation with funding agencies, post-course evaluation, etc.

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all CET programmes and related activities adhere strictly to NYP's internal policies, financial procedures, and quality assurance frameworks.

4. Funding, Policy, & Process Optimization

  • Funding Optimisation: Maintain deep knowledge of national policies, grants, and subsidies to construct financially viable, fund-subsidised proposals for corporate clients.

  • Workflow Transformation: Continually optimise internal business processes—ranging from lead tracking and client conversion to enrolment—to maximise responsiveness and speed-to-market for industry partners.

[What we are looking for]

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.

  • Proven working experience in programme management, administration, or partnership management, preferably within the education or CET sector.

  • Pleasant interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and CET landscapes in Singapore is preferred.

  • Meticulous with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively engage and influence a diverse range of internal (academic, administrative) and external (agency, industry) stakeholders.

  • Ability to conduct simple market analysis and research.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Good communication and leadership skills.
