As a Lead Engineering Manager, you will oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions while mentoring engineering teams and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, secure, and high-performing applications. This position offers the opportunity to influence engineering strategy, establish best practices, and build technology platforms that support long-term business growth.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage software engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.
• Drive end-to-end software development using Python, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable application architecture.
• Define engineering roadmaps, technical standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to prioritize features and align technical execution with business objectives.
• Review system architecture, code quality, performance, and security to ensure engineering excellence across projects.
• Drive Agile development practices, sprint planning, estimation, resource allocation, and project execution.
• Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks while promoting continuous improvement in software delivery processes.
• Support cloud deployment, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and application performance optimization.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and foster a culture of technical learning, innovation, and accountability.
• Monitor engineering metrics, project progress, delivery quality, and operational performance while ensuring successful product releases.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams, with strong hands-on expertise in Python development.
• Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, high-performance software applications and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, design patterns, APIs, and system integration.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and modern software development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams, mentor developers, and drive technical decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, project planning, engineering execution, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
