As a Lead Engineering Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions. You will play a key role in defining engineering best practices, improving development processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous learning. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, technical depth, and the ability to align engineering execution with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Design, develop, and oversee scalable software solutions using Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Drive architectural decisions, code quality standards, and engineering best practices across projects.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Operations teams to define technical requirements and deliver business-focused solutions.
• Manage project planning, sprint execution, resource allocation, and delivery timelines to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and support engineers in solving complex technical challenges.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish CI/CD practices, testing strategies, monitoring frameworks, and development workflows to improve engineering efficiency.
• Identify process improvements, automate repetitive tasks, and promote engineering innovation across teams.
• Track engineering metrics, manage technical risks, and communicate project progress to key stakeholders.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Python.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering software projects in an agile environment.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and services.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to mentor and inspire engineering teams.
