The Lead Engineer – Subsea Distribution Systems is responsible for design and development of products for the subsea oil fields distribution system.
As a Lead Engineer, Subsea Distribution Systems, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing technical requirements based on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards.

  • Leading and contributing on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule.

  • Working cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables. 

  • Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant. 

  • Be accountable for cost out activities, budget monitoring and eng plans progress.

  • Managing engineering suppliers on the technical standpoint, providing guidance and granting compliance to applicable technical and contractual requirements. 

  • Providing engineering support to program management and any other stakeholders. 

  • Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products.

  • Providing consultancy advice to the project bid team. 


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Be an expert in 3D CAD modelling. 

  • Have Subsea equipment knowledge and relevant design methodologies (desired).

  • Have a robust mechanical design background with proven experience in a similar role.

  • Be proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility.

  • Have strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English. 

  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

For Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,200 To 59,400. .   The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
