Lead Electrician

Direct Electric Hawaii is a small growing business, locally owned and operated. We are an experienced and highly-recommended electrical contractor serving the electrical needs of residential and commercial properties on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

LEAD ELECTRICIAN (Full Time):

This position is best for a person with a high standard of integrity and professionalism, who can provide leadership and technical expertise. We are looking for Electricians who can manage and run residential and commercial jobs from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will also be self-motivated to lead efforts for safe working practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and technical expertise

• Lead efforts for safe working practices

• Troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical systems

• Working knowledge of applicable codes, 2008 and 2011 NEC

• Maintain timely and accurate reporting on job status to Direct Electric Hawaii management

• Order and stock materials for job site to keep work flow continuous

Qualifications:

At least 4 years of prior experience in the following:

•Installing photovoltaic systems

•Residential and commercial electrical

•Be punctual and reliable

•Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops

•Capable of lifting 50lbs 

•Own hand tools

•Excellent customer service skills

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

•Exercise professionalism, strong work ethic and a positive attitude

•Must have a valid State issued Driver’s license

•Must have a clean driving record 

•Must have your own vehicle or way to work

•A valid Hawaii Journeyman’s Electrician license is a plus

•Excellent References

• Competitive compensation, starting between $20-$40 per hour (depending on experience)
